Andreas Bergsten, PhD, licensed psychologist

I am a licenced psychologist educated at Lund University in Sweden. I completed my doctoral thesis in Industrial economy and management at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, exploring tacit knowledge in leadership.

After my first years working with psychological treatment in clinical settings, I have now spent over twenty years consulting in leader and team development, conflict and crisis management, personality assessment, and individual councelling.

My clients are corporate and public sector as well as private. I have international experience, primarily from Europe and Asia. I am a frequent guest lecturer in psychology at Uppsala University.

As a psychologist, I value the license to focus on essential concerns in peoples’ lives. What deeply moves and touches us often offers the best guidance and holds the solutions to the most intractable problems.

A Swedish national, I live in Beijing, China, but I am free to travel elsewhere for more substantial assignments. I do some work online, primarily sessions with clients I have earlier met face to face, and for planning and following up on assignments.
